Well done to Simon Russell and Cain Clark for completing their remaining dry suit lessons yesterday at Stoney Cove. Both are looking forward to building up their experience with their dry suits as they have not felt this “toasty warm” since diving in Mexico. Cain gets the booby prize for bringing his dry suit hose but not actually connecting it to his first stage.
John Sargent is not far behind and will be looking to complete his training at an inland site soon.
Superb walk today starting from and finishing at the Shotley Rose. Thanks to everyone who managed to join us. The weather was perfect and we have found a good local pub with very friendly owners and the food was really good not to mention the beer. Just over 6 miles for some of the group. Looking forward to the next one!
The club has donated two try dive vouchers to the Shotley Rose who are holding an Auction to raise money for a Cancer care ward in Ipswich Hospital.
Thanks to Naina for organising the event.
